Disney's A Christmas Carol Train Tour

Today we headed to Louisville to see the Disney "A Christmas Carol" Train Tour!

When we first discovered that Disney was traveling the US with this Train we knew we just had to see it! There were only 2 locations close enough to make it a Day Trip and we decided to see it in Louisville!

In planning our day we were getting a little worried, cause we have heard there have been up to 4 hour wait lines to this train! (They told us in Louisville that 1 city it was actually 5 1/2 hours!) Which was another reason we decided to see it in Louisville. It was actually going to be in Louisville for 3 days, so we hoped that meant wait lines wouldn't be as long!

Here are a few pics of the Train!

So they had several of these "posts" around the area and out of the top it was shooting out snow. So it looked like it was snowing as we were walking around!

Inside the train they had Articles on Loan from the Charles Dickens Museum in London! So the first couple of cars where filled with those and clothing. Then you had cars filled with Movie stuff. Like these:
Here are the interactive screens were you could discover things about the different places of the movie, such as Scrooge's Home. They also had trivia questions on there for you to answer! The kids LOVED it! It was Touch Screen!
After the computer screens, we were ushered into a little booth (actually 2 because of our party size!) were they took your pic and then morphed you into a character from the movie. We are still waiting for those to be e-mailed to us. We will share when we get them, if we can!
At the end of the train as we were exiting they these Christmas Carolers singing Christmas songs. They allowed us to take a pic with them, but they never stopped singing! :)

After exiting the train we went over to this Blow UP Theater. Inside we were shown a sneak peak of the movie. Which was TOTALLY AWESEOME!!!

Then on our way home we stopped to get a look at this:

NO! We walked right on the train. I meant to put that in the blog....but I forgot I guess.

We arrived there at 9:30, they opened at 9AM. We were there about 2 hours! I couldn't believe we were there that long.

So glad we went!
